Stuart Kuhn

I'm thrilled to have been appointmed as a Director of the Temecula-Anza-Elsinore-Murrieta Resource Conservation District (TEAM RCD), effective March 14, 2024. This voluntary role was graciously appointed by Supervisor Chuck Washington, recognizing my 20+ years of dedication to natural resource management, specializing in stormwater quality, regulatory compliance, and flood control hydrology and hydraulics. TEAM RCD serves a crucial function in promoting conservation practices, educational opportunities, and sustaining the quality of life within Riverside County. Covering an expansive area of 505,000 acres, our mission extends from Scott Road down to the San Diego County line and eastward from Anza to the edge of Orange County, including parts around Lake Elsinore. In this capacity, I aim to leverage my expertise as a Stormwater Program Manager to enhance the Alternative Compliance Program, collaborating closely with regional agencies to ensure smooth permitting processes and the protection of our vital watersheds. I look forward to contributing to our community’s environmental stewardship and helping to uphold the biodiversity that makes Southwest Riverside County a recognized ecological hotspot.
